Early Offer Program
Year 12 is always a busy one, with pressure to get the result you want for uni entry.
So let's take some of that pressure off with an early offer.
This pathway gives you a conditional offer of a place at uni before you start your exams. It's for Year 12s with expected ATARs, completing Certificate IV studies, or undertaking another program that leads to undergraduate study, like a recognised university enabling course.
All you need to know is your predicted ATAR and/or provide us with a copy of your latest school results.
What can I get an early offer for?
You can apply for early offers for a huge variety of ECU undergraduate courses.
How do I qualify for an early offer?
To be considered for an early offer you need to be a Year 12 student and meet one of the following conditions:
- Have a predicted ATAR (or Year 11 results you can share with us).
- Be completing a Certificate IV or other program that leads to undergraduate study, like a university enabling course, at your school or through a recognised training provider.

If you're applying for an ECU early offer you don't need to also apply through TISC. However, if you do choose to apply through TISC, you'll still be considered for an early offer and will also be considered in the normal round of offers in December. Also, if you do choose to go through TISC, please make sure you add an ECU course as your first preference and do this by 30 September.
Not all students choose to apply through TISC so if you have applied direct to ECU, you don't also have to apply through TISC. If you do choose to go through TISC, please make sure you add ECU as your first preference and you'll be considered for an early offer and also in the normal round of TISC offers in December.
If you apply direct to ECU and also through TISC, you should make sure that your course preferences match as you can only hold one early offer at a time.
If you change your mind about your course after you've received an early offer, that's ok, you'll just need to update your ECU application (if you have one) and complete our online enquiries form to request a change of course.
For TISC, you can update your preferences directly - see choosing and changing preferences in TISC if you need assistance. We'll then be able to issue you an updated early offer for your new course if you're eligible and this will replace your previous offer.
You can only hold one early offer at a time so if you apply for an early offer and then change your mind about your course, you'll need to complete this online enquiries form to request a change of course.
If you're studying for an ATAR, you'll need a letter from your school showing your predicted ATAR. If you don't have one of those, a copy of your Year 11 results or report is OK.
If you're an interstate Year 12 student, you'll need to provide a copy of your Year 12 certificate of education (in Western Australia we call this 'WACE'), and your official year 12 results showing English competency and ATAR score. Please upload these documents to your online application when you have them. If you've met the conditions outlined, you'll receive an unconditional offer.
If you're completing an AQF Certificate IV (or higher), or a university enabling course at another institution, you'll need to upload a copy of your completion certificate as part of your online application. If you've met all the requirements outlined in your early conditional offer, you'll receive an unconditional offer.
All early offers are conditional on you meeting all the entry requirements and prerequisites (where relevant) of the course you're interested in.
You'll also need to meet ECU's minimum admission requirements, including English standards and achievement of WACE.
